These wars are a loss and the taliban cannot be defeated because they are used to that lifestyle. It is irresponsible to remain there and allow for more soldiers to die. They are not withdrawing everyone from Iraq like the media says, some say ten more years in Iraq, but the president said he would immediately begin to withdraw troops from Iraq. Same Bush foreign policy, but the military industrial complex gets what it wants and that’s the way it is anymore. They don’t want change.

Actually, in the first few months of his campaign he promised to “bring ALL the troops home” no matter where they were based. This was one reason he became so popular. I agree, it would be “irresponsible” to do it, but this was what he promised.

Although I disagree with almost everything he is and will do, I do believe God appointed him for this time.Just as he appointed Bush. The Word says to “pray for the authorities over us”. I pray for him but I don’t support his key issues.
Just as many Christians painted Bush sitting down and Christ standing and praying over him, I can imagine Christ doing the samething for Obama.
